version90 takes a negotiated contract from final redline to executed PDF without leaving the product: accept the changes, place the fields, send — signers click an email link and sign in the browser, no accounts needed, with a generous envelope allowance included in your subscription. Every executed document carries a tamper-evident seal, a Certificate of Completion, and a full evidence record; every party gets the executed copy by email, and it files itself into your archive.
The last mile was always someone else's product
You negotiate in one tool, then export, upload, re-place signature fields, and pay a per-envelope fee to a second tool — which then emails you back a PDF you have to file somewhere yourself. version90 closes the loop: the document that just finished negotiation is the document that gets signed, and the executed copy lands back in the same workspace, already versioned, already searchable.
Finalizing is a deliberate act
You can't accidentally send a half-redlined draft. Finalize for signing tells you exactly how many tracked changes are still open, accepts all of them, commits that clean state as a real version — the negotiation history stays intact and restorable — and freezes the signing PDF. From that moment, the SHA-256 fingerprint of that exact file is what every signature is recorded against. Then you drag signature, initial, date, text, and checkbox fields onto the pages, per signer.
Signing that guides, not confuses
Signers get a personal, single-use link by email — no account, nothing to install. The document renders in the browser with their fields live: click to sign (type it or draw it), click to fill, a Next tab walks through anything still missing, and one explicit finish action completes it. Signers sign in order, each one seeing every signature already placed — like paper. Decline is a first-class action too, with the reason recorded and your workspace released.
Evidence, because signatures get challenged
What makes an e-signature hold up isn't the squiggle — it's the record. version90 captures consent to sign electronically, every view, the signing act, IP and device, and the document fingerprint, on an append-only, hash-chained timeline. The executed PDF is assembled from the frozen signing copy, stamped with every field, appended with a Certificate of Completion (who signed, when, from where, against which fingerprint), and sealed with a cryptographic signature and trusted timestamp — alter one byte afterward and standard PDF validation says so. The complete machine-readable evidence package is one API call away when counsel asks.
Everyone gets the executed copy
The moment the last signature lands, every party — each signer and the sender — is emailed the fully executed PDF, and it's filed in the workspace and archive, extracted and searchable like everything else you've signed.
Keep anyone in the loop, without making them a signer
CC any email addresses on the send — finance, an outside advisor, the account manager who just needs to know. Watchers don't sign and don't need accounts; they're notified at every step (sent, each signature landing, decline or cancellation) and receive the executed copy alongside the parties.
Change of plans? Cancel cleanly.
Until everyone has signed, you can cancel. Outstanding links die instantly; anyone who already signed is notified their signature is nullified. Your signing PDF and placed fields survive by default for an immediate re-send — or discard them and drop back to the working document and its full version history.
One meter, not two subscriptions
Envelopes ride the same credit pool as AI review: an envelope is 5 credits from the 300 your plan includes each month — room for a busy month of signing alongside your reviews — and credit packs ($10 per 100, they roll over) cover the months that spike. No second signature subscription, no surprise invoice.

Is version90's e-signature legally binding?
Electronic signatures are legally recognized in the U.S. under the ESIGN Act and UETA, and what makes any e-signature stand up is the evidence process. version90 records the whole chain: consent to sign electronically, the explicit act of signing, the signer's network identity, and the SHA-256 fingerprint of the exact document signed — then seals the executed PDF so any later alteration is detectable, and appends a Certificate of Completion. version90 is software, not a law firm; consult counsel for anything consequential.
Do signers need a version90 account?
No. Signers get an email with a personal, single-use signing link and sign in the browser — no account, no app, no download. The link is their credential: it expires, dies the moment it's used, and each signer only ever holds the link for their own turn.
What happens to tracked changes when I send for signature?
Sending is a two-step, deliberate act. First you finalize: version90 tells you exactly how many tracked changes are outstanding, accepts all of them, commits that clean state as a new version (your negotiation history stays intact and restorable), and freezes a signing PDF. Fields are placed on that frozen PDF, and its fingerprint is what every signature is recorded against.
Can I cancel a signing that's underway?
Yes, any time before everyone has signed. Cancelling kills the outstanding links, and anyone who already signed is notified by email that their signature is nullified. By default your signing PDF and placed fields survive so you can re-send immediately (wrong email address, small fix); you can also discard them and fall back to the working document and its version history.
Do signers see each other's signatures?
Yes — like paper. The second signer reviews the document with the first signer's signature, dates, and entries already in place; each later signer sees the accumulated state. And when the last signature lands, every party is automatically emailed the fully executed PDF.
Can I keep other people in the loop without making them signers?
Yes — CC any email addresses when you send. Watchers don't need version90 accounts and can't sign; they're notified at every step of the signing (sent, each signature, decline or cancellation) and receive the fully executed copy along with the parties. Their update emails never contain a signing link — only signers hold those.
Can I keep using DocuSign or Dropbox Sign instead?
Yes. If your organization is tied to a provider, connect your own DocuSign or Dropbox Sign account and version90 sends through it — same workspace, same archive filing of the executed copy, and those envelopes use no version90 credits (your provider bills them). Built-in signing is simply there when you'd rather have one product and one bill.
How many envelopes are included?
Envelopes draw from the same monthly credit pool as AI: an envelope is 5 credits, and your plan includes 300 credits a month — enough for roughly 60 envelopes if you did nothing else, and a comfortable mix of signing and AI review in a normal month. Need more? Credit packs are $10 per 100, they roll over, and nothing is ever charged automatically. The free tier includes one envelope so you can try the whole loop.
